They master the methods and means of assessing technological and natural hazards and the risk of their actualization. They study the rules for rationing hazards and the anthropogenic impact on the environment, methods for calculating technological equipment elements according to ergonomic and reliability criteria, and master the methodology for developing emergency response plans and operational action plans when conducting rescue operations. Students acquire skills to conduct an examination of an accident and disaster manifestation with the execution of a technical conclusion, as well as master the methods and means of protecting humans and the environment from technogenic and natural hazards.
