In the process of training in this speciality, students get acquainted with the properties of natural gas and gas equipment; the basics of operating gas equipment and technological nodes of gas distribution and gas consumption networks; with the main and auxiliary processes of natural gas transport in gas distribution and gas consumption networks,; the principles of selecting gas equipment based on calculations; they study measures for the design, construction and repair of gas distribution and gas consumption networks, methods of combating hydrate sampling formation in the gas distribution networks and gas consumption, as well as measures to prevent gas leaks and emergencies.
